The 5th (most likely the last) question on the Journey of greatness is THE QUESTION OF VISION, it is the question of destination (destiny).
It seeks answers to the questions of "WHERE AM I GOING? WHERE WOULD I BE? WHAT WOULD I BE?"
Where will i be in the next 5-20 years? What is my destiny or destination? What is the tomorrow of my business/organization?
You will become bold when you know what you were born to do and when you have the vision for your destiny. These 2 great discoveries are perhaps the 2 greatest discoveries of all times. This is the discovery of your (present) today and the discovery of your future (tomorrow).
If you would be honest, you will agree with me that most of us worry over tomorrow than the past. As a matter of fact, we are concerned the more about how today & tomorrow will go or end but only make reference to yesterday when there is the need.
That is why i always say, If your today is richer than your tomorrow, there is a problem: there is a disconnect. We are supposed to be richer today than yesterday; richer tomorrow, than today.
Consider this, there are two types of people: those who spend their lives trying to build a future, and those who spend their lives trying to rebuild the past.
Most times the only thing we know about the future is that it is going to be different and so we have a choice, like Barack Obama would say, "We can either shape our future or let events shape it for us".
