EMPOWERED VISION 06 - VISION IS THE ART OF SEEING WHAT IS INVINCIBLE TO OTHERS

(THE 4TH DEFINITION OF VISION - ON THE JOURNEY OF EMPOWERED VISION)
Vision is the art of recognizing opportunities. Daniel records in Daniel 10:7  "And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves". The people around Daniel never saw what Daniel was seeing. The vision Daniel saw, made him superior to others. The people around Daniel became inferior to Daniel because of the Great Vision Daniel received.
One surest way to lead and remain different in any given stance/field is to have a superior Vision. Vision is one thing that God gives you that makes you superior.
It is my prayer that you alone will see that vision that will make you the reference point in your sector. This year you will see what your competition and colleagues will not see.
Like Daniel, you will see/conceive the vision that will make you stand out where ever you are or where ever you go in Jesus name (Amen). Vision takes you into the future before others get there.

Vision makes you stand 'head above shoulder': Your vision can make you stand head above your mates.
Vision helps you recognize growth & opportunities others wouldn’t see.
Anyone who has ever invented something has had the privilege of seeing what others were not seeing. They've had the benefit of doing what others haven't done; that's the power of vision.
You are one information away from your next level of success or your next breakthrough. The difference between failures and success is information - MIKE MURDOCK

When God said He would do much more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), i believe He was also referring to releasing the power of vision.

The Encarta Dictionary defines Invincible as:-

1. UNBEATABLE (too strong or skillful to ever be defeated) -Your vision makes you unbeatable.

2. TOO DIFFICULT TO OVERCOME (so great or difficult as to be impossible to overcome)-Your vision makes it difficult for you to be easily overcome. Have you noticed that “men and women of vision rarely die easily?

3. DEEP ROOTED (too deep-rooted or ingrained to be altered) – when you see anyone who is into his or her vision, they are not easily manipulated or convinced to ‘chicken-out’.

Anyone given to vision stays the course/cause even when others have long given up. Vision makes you deep rooted.

I recently read a story of a female African entrepreneur producing African-crop cereals to feed African infants, her name is Marie Diongoye Konaté of Mali. Her nickname is “L'insubmersible.” The Unsinkable.

Born in Mali, this West African lioness founded her multi-million dollar baby cereal company, Protein Kissèe-La (PKL), in 1995 with only 600 Euros in capital.
She used her own money to set up her small food processing operation, which became known as “an African miracle,” because big banks wouldn’t give loans to new small businesses such as hers, and she wanted to show it was possible.

Inspired to create a nutritious infant porridge that parents could feed their infants quickly and affordably, Konaté first bought a used milling machine, and then rented a stand in a market in Abidjan, the capital of Côte d’Ivoire.

Her aim was to set up a local business, using local crop inputs, to produce highly nutritious fortified infant food, affordable to the poorest of the poor.

Konaté thought it made no sense at all that in Africa “We export what we produce and import what we eat!” even though Africa has the second fastest growing population on earth, doubling in size to 1 billion in the past 27 years. It is projected that this could almost double again by 2050! (Remember, high growth means high opportunity. Young people are an important emerging market within emerging markets! Think about it).

She first asked herself the question - "why must African parents feed their infants imported infant cereal when ingredients are produced locally?"

Konaté’s vision identified both a need and an opportunity to provide local homegrown (non-imported!) infant food as answers to widespread child malnutrition problems especially when giant multinationals like Nestlé and Danone were feeding imports to Africa’s children, while local farmers were growing many of the same nutritious crops, to be fed only to animals . . .

So, she resigned her salaried job and embarked into her own business, taking on some of the largest companies on earth, who remain her fiercest market competition! In Ivory Coast, PKL moved up to second in the powdered milk market, that has Nestlé and Danone.

Konaté has faced several challenges in the past 20 years – huge international competitors, post-election civil war, and economic turbulence, among others.

One of the biggest crises that nearly sunk PKL about 10 years ago years was toxic waste dumped by a ship, right near her baby food factory. This is may be one reason why they call Konaté unsinkable! (cue from (Strive Masiyiwa #‎AfricanLionessRoar - @StriveMasiyiwa))

Marie Diongoye Konate’s vision made her compete with the giants of agribusiness in Africa. Your own vision will bring you before kings and nations in Jesus’ Name.

Marie Diongoye Konate’s vision made her unbeatable, deep rooted and difficult to be kicked aside.

Vision makes you relevant and immovable force in your sector/industry.

Often, it is not money that is the problem but the lack of a deep rooted vision.  The problem is not the lack of money but the absence of vision.

Vision will help you to be strong-willed, dogged. You need to believe in your vision and be strong-willed about it. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams!

This week pick up your vision and take a 2nd look at it and ask yourself if it's worth dying or living for? Is it worth taking a risk for? Ask yourself what you can do for your vision.

If you are not convinced about your vision or if you are in doubt, I’ll suggest you go to God in prayers and ask Him to help you give clarity & better understanding to your vision so that you can go all out for your vision.

When you connect yourself to God then you connect yourself to unlimited resources.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR VISION BECAUSE YOUR VISION CAN MAKE YOU UNBEATABLE, YOU BECOME DIFFICULT TO BE KICKED ASIDE & DEEP-ROOTED TO BE ALTERED.

May the Lord favor you this week.

Vision makes you outstandingly different.
