EMPOWERED VISION 05 - VISION IS AN ‘EXPO’ INTO WHAT YOU ARE THAT IS INSIDE OF YOU THAT IS YET TO COME INTO REALITY.

Mike Murdock says "What you love is a clue to something you contain" and I dare say, what you contain (inside of you) is a clue your vision. The things that are inside of you are pointers to whom you are; or whom you ought to be; the vision of you.

If God were to give you a slight peep into who you really are, you will be stunned with amazement and you won't be able to sleep, i can guarantee. 

Most times there is the need to see & know the vision of who we truly are, in other words, to see your real self. Vision is the ability to see your real self. 

When God created you He put a vision in you and thats who you truly are and not the faz (whim) or false life you are made to see on the outside.

You must have heard of this statement of fact "while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18). So, Vision is an ‘expo’ into what you are that is inside of you that is yet to come into reality or manifestation. It is in seeing those things that are deep / eternal inside of you, that you discover your vision.

“People think that their dream is outside of them. So they go looking for prophets – wanting somebody to prophesy to them". 

God hid your future in a place where He knew you couldn’t miss it. He hid it within you.

Vision is the insight into what God has in plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, God reveals his mind towards us "For I know the plans that I have for you, (declares the Lord) plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. God has given you a future, a plan for your life and that's your vision. The vision of you. 

Vision really is God exposing the true potentials of your life to you in the midst of your present situation/conditions.

In Judges 6:12, the Angel called Gideon "A Mighty Man Of Valour (mighty warrior)" but gideon thought otherwise, he was dazed with amazement in contradictions to what the angel said even though it became obvious that the angel was addressing whom Gideon really was.

In a similar account (in Luke 1:26-30), The Angel Gabriel hailed Mary (the mother of Jesus) as "The Favored One", but Mary was greatly troubled at his statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation that was.  

The truth is that God always sees us in the vision He created us.

When we catch and run with the vision of our lives, we will become unstoppable.

You have being created to do more. Vision here is an eye-opener

I will love to end with a story and this quote from Oprah Winfrey (paraphrased) "THERE IS A VISION FOR YOUR LIFE THAT IS GREATER THAN YOUR IMAGINATION"

A beggar once approached a little boy who was an artist to make a painting of him. The little boy agreed and went on to paint the beggar but never reflected the beggar's present conditions or appearance. The little artist painted the (same) beggar on a corporate suit, designer white shirt, with a pair of gucci glasses, Bruno Magli shoes, a versace embossed leather belt & versace genuine leather watch. The man in the painting had his hair neatly cut and kept with 'wet lips' along his neatly arranged eye brow. The beggar stood speechless for minutes in awe (wonder) at the vision the little artist-boy had of him.

May God reveal to you the true vision of who you are.

EMPOWERED VISION 03 - VISION IS THE MENTAL PICTURE OF TOMORROW!

Do you have in your mind a clear picture of what your tomorrow is? Your vision must be clear as crystal not vague. A vague vision is not a good one; there are times where a vision may not be totally clear but it gradually unfolds. This is called a vision in process (many of us are in that state). Two things worthy of note is that Vision is not static & that vision is mentally visible (first & always), conceivable, (vision can be visualized).                                         

Do you have a clear cut picture of your vision? When you have clear cut vision in life/business, you have taking the first step out or away from obscurity/insignificance. It's when you've settled in clear terms what your vision is that you can then commit to paper, having a real genuine & meaningful Vision Statement.    

EMPOWERED VISION 02 - MYTHS ABOUT VISION

One of the greatest problem of humanity; If not the greatest, is the problem of discovery; the problem of visioning! "For it is the glory of the Almighty God to hide the secret (the deep or uncommon) things of this world but it is the glory and honor of kings to find it (search it out). Proverbs 25:2

Finding vision in life is an assignment given to all.

MYTHS ABOUT VISION

1. Vision is Vision Statement: - Many have limited vision to just the writing down of vision statement(s). Vision is not just the writing of your vision statement or a set of visions on Paper but clear cut knowing & understanding of what you are to do and protecting it with your Life. Little wonder, many visions end on paper.
2.  (Quid crastina volveret ætas, Scire nefas homini.) Man is not allowed to know what will happen to-morrow: - The future is a world limited by ourselves. God has given us the ability & capacity to envision tomorrow (what is to come); we are only limited in our thinking/mind).
3.  (Calamitosus est animus futuri anxius). The mind that is anxious about the future is miserable: - there is nothing wrong about seeking the vision/future of anything because  If only our eyes can see beyond our today, then we won't suffer from impaired vision or being miserable. We won't sacrifice/destroy tomorrow today. The mind that cares about tomorrow, will not mortgage the future for things that expires now.
4. Man remains in the end what he started as in the beginning: - Vision changes any man's life except and unless you are unwilling to do something about your tomorrow today. Vision gives one's life a new meaning just as it did mine. God gave Abraham a new vision changing his life from Abram to Abraham. Abraham died at a ripe old age, an old man satisfied with life.
