“I think that the greatest gift God ever gave man is not the gift of sight but the gift of vision,” “Sight is a function of the eyes, but vision is a function of the heart. When a person doesn’t have a vision, they live by their eyes. That means we live by what we see. That’s one of the reasons why people are so depressed, and that’s why the future never becomes a reality".
Dr. Munroe says.
The owner of microsoft once said, their vision was to always be ahead of their customers, so that when their "customers wake up", microsoft will be there (waiting). You can have a vision that keeps you ahead of the pack; ahead of your industry, ahead of your customers, etc.
Vision gives you the edge in your field; vision gives you insight into what is not in existence. God gives us ideas, He gives us ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’ – these are the things God has prepared for those who love him (according to 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9) – Some ideas that God gives you in the night, don't discard them. No matter how unimaginable they seem or how big they are, don't discard them. It may not make meaning now but tomorrow it will make sense. it may be the very idea that you need for your business success or for the success of your future, please don't discard it.
According to Barack Obama, We did not come to fear the future. We came here to shape it. Vision helps us to shape the future. Vision takes us into the future before we get there.
In closing, in Daniel chapter 12, it was reveal to Daniel the things that will happen in the world long after Daniel had long died; the account also records in Daniel 12;4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased".
Has knowledge truly increased today or not? This is what Vision can do - it is the power of seeing what is not yet in existence.
